George Mueller, of GH Mueller, LLC, was recently announced ZEUS Battery Products’ Representative of the Year at EDS 2012, held at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas, NV May 8th-May 10th, 2012, honors by ZEUS Battery Products (formerly Power-Cell Battery Products) in recognition of outstanding dedication, sales growth, and support for the Midwest, including Minnesota and Northern Wisconsin territories.

The annual award is based on several factors including new business opportunities, total sales volume, total bookings, level of correspondence and follow through. Mueller ranked very high in sales and bookings and was key in getting ZEUS Battery Products sealed lead acid battery product line placed in the hunting and fishing marketplace.

ZEUS Battery Products ISO 9001:2008 Re-Certification

ZEUS Battery Products is proud to announce it received it's ISO 9001:2008 certification of re-registration on April 1, 2011. To become certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant, ZEUS Battery Products undergoes a yearly evaluation process that includes quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.

The process culminated in a comprehensive surveillance visit conducting a systematic and independent examination of ZEUS Battery Products quality activities by QAS International Limited. The purpose of this visit was to determine whether these arrangements are controlled and in keeping with the requirements of the current ISO 9001:2008 Quality and Procedure manuals in ZEUS Battery Products possession. After correction and closure of all non conformances, QAS International will maintain ZEUS Battery Products in its register of Quality Approved Companies operating to the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 series of standards for a further year to March 2011.

This certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2008 recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our company ensure consistent quality in the services and work product we provide our customers.
