TED Magazine Posts ZEUS Battery Products Alkaline Battery Flashlight Video

BLOOMINGDALE, IL. June 5, 2012 – TED Magazine, the voice for the electrical distribution channel, has published ZEUS Battery Products’ Alkaline Battery Flashlight Comparison Test YouTube video on its website. This time-lapsed video illustrating a series of alkaline batteries used in standard flashlights helps determine which leading alkaline battery offers the best overall performance.

ZEUS Battery Products decided to conduct this in-house comparison test pitting their own brand against 4 others, (left to right) Energizer, Rayovac, ZEUS, Duracell and a store brand. They loaded 2 D-cell batteries into identical flashlights using Maglite Krypton bulbs turning them on, starting the camera and the timer. The goal of this test was to prove which batteries are the better value - taking longevity and price into account.

ZEUS Battery Products ISO 9001:2008 Re-Certification

ZEUS Battery Products is proud to announce it received it's ISO 9001:2008 certification of re-registration on April 1, 2011. To become certified as ISO 9001:2008 compliant, ZEUS Battery Products undergoes a yearly evaluation process that includes quality management system development, a management system documentation review, pre-audit, initial assessment, and clearance of non-conformances, all of which work to identify corrective actions that eliminate non-conformance to the quality management standard.

The process culminated in a comprehensive surveillance visit conducting a systematic and independent examination of ZEUS Battery Products quality activities by QAS International Limited. The purpose of this visit was to determine whether these arrangements are controlled and in keeping with the requirements of the current ISO 9001:2008 Quality and Procedure manuals in ZEUS Battery Products possession. After correction and closure of all non conformances, QAS International will maintain ZEUS Battery Products in its register of Quality Approved Companies operating to the BS EN ISO 9001:2008 series of standards for a further year to March 2011.

This certification of compliance with ISO 9001:2008 recognizes that the policies, practices and procedures of our company ensure consistent quality in the services and work product we provide our customers. With this certification, our customers can be confident that ZEUS Battery Products is dedicated to maintaining the highest efficiency and responsiveness in acheiving our ultimate goal - guaranteed customer satisfaction.
